An award-winning jazz singer will be bowling over the audience at her first ever concert in the Falkirk area.

Marianne McGregor, who took the Best Vocalist title at the 2021 Scottish Jazz Awards, will be performing at Laurieston Bowling Club on Friday, November 3 at 8.30pm.

Peter Alexander, marketing convenor of Laurieston Bowling Club, said: "I am thrilled to have secured funding to bring artists of the calibre of Marianne McGregor to my home town of Falkirk. With winter approaching, what better way to banish the blues than with a jolt of jazz."
