Falkirk shoppers warned to beware after Asda and Morrisons recall food products

According to the Food Standards Agency (FSA), Morrisons – which has a branch in Falkirk just off Hope Street – has had to recall Choco Crackles breakfast cereal because it contains pieces of plastic.
The specific packs affected are the 375g size with a best before date of November 2021.

Hide AdMeanwhile Asda, which has a number of stores throughout the Falkirk area, has had to recall Original Chicken Chargrills – pack size 170g, batch code 31120953, best before date September 2022, because of the presence of salmonella.
Asda and Morrisons will display point of sale notices in stores selling these two products, explaining to customers why the products are being recalled and telling them what to do if they have bought the product.
FSA advise customers who bought these products to return them to the store for a full refund.
