In pictures: First Minister visits Falkirk
During a whistle stop tour of the town with Falkirk West candidate Michael Matheson on Friday, she pledged: “Medicines on the NHS shouldn’t be a luxury, they are a necessity and they should be free.”
She and Mr Matheson visited the Callendar Pharmacy on the day prescription costs in England rose to £8.40.

We’ve abolished prescription charges and will resist any attempt from the Tories or any other party to re-introduce them.”
