Temporary Falkirk homes needed for guide dog puppies
Volunteer puppy walkers care for the dogs from seven weeks of age until they are between 12 and 15 months old.
Volunteering Consultant Emma Murton said: “Puppy walkers are amazing volunteers who start our puppies on their journey to becoming fully-fledged guide dogs.

“To become a puppy walker, volunteers will need to be home for the majority of the day and have a securely fenced garden. They’ll also need to be able to take their puppy into many varied environments, such as shops, cafes and on public transport.
“It’s an extremely rewarding role and volunteers receive full training and plenty of support from our staff.
“We will be able to confirm the location of the event with those interested when they contact us to register. If anyone is unable to make the event but is interested in becoming a volunteer, we would still love to hear from them.”
