Falkirk folk will still be able to see Macrobert's Christmas magic performance
and live on Freeview channel 276
The new Pitlochry Festival Theatre production – which is being filmed in Stirling and Pitlochry – will be screened between December 11 and December 21.
Current COVID-19 restrictions – which forbid travel between different council areas and live performances – would normally have meant producers would miss out on a wider audience attendance and Falkirk residents young and old would not have an opportunity to enjoy this slice of festive cheer.

Macrobert artistic director Julie Ellen said: “As well as being wonderful performance makers, our friends at Pitlochry Festival Theatre are custodians of the Explorers Garden Visitor Attraction, a unique spot where The Magic of Christmas can be summoned up this year.
“Sharing experiences with the people we share our lives with is truly precious, especially during the Festive Season. COVID-19 level restrictions mean we can’t have live performances at Macrobert Arts Centre in 2020 so it is absolutely brilliant there will be a unique Stirling Stella edition of this fabulous festive adventure, in a big screen experience exclusive to Macrobert.
“We are really appreciative of the generosity of spirit and creative imagination this partnership embodies and we are especially glad to be able to share The Magic of Christmas with Forth Valley families.”
