Three firms set to deliver Falkirk Council's new HQ in 2021
The council has appointed Michael Laird Architects - best known locally for its work on the Ineos headquarters and the new Rosebank Distillery - to help transform the former call centre into modern offices.
Working with hub East Scotland, a public/private partnership organisation that delivers community infrastructure, Falkirk Council has also appointed award- winning engineers, DSSR, whose local work includes Forth Valley Hospital, and engineering and design consultants, BakerHicks.

They will also help to close and demolish the current Municipal Buildings.
The creation of new office space in Larbert – and further office accommodation in the Falkirk Stadium - was agreed at a meeting of Council in September as part of the council's plans to build a £45 million council headquarters and arts centre.

Hide AdLesley Malkin, project manager, said: “Working with hub East Scotland, our delivery partners, we have been able to appoint three leading contractors whose experience in their individual fields is second-to-none.
"Their expertise and knowledge will help us move quickly to the next stage of the project, and help the council take a significant step forward in its transformation.”
The project is part of the council's strategic property review which is looking at all of the council's properties and how they are used.
