Plans for new shop in Bainsford community hall

Bainsford Hall Community Group lodged an application with Falkirk Council planners on June 17 to alter and part change the use of the premises in Davids Loan, Bainsford, to form a Class 1 shop.
The Class 1 designation covers shops where the sale of goods, display or service is principally concerned with visiting members of the public.

Hide AdBack in 2016 the Bainsford community pulled together to form a group in a bid to save the hall from closing after Falkirk Council cuts placed it under threat.
Now the Bainsford Hall Community Group, which took over management of the premises on June 1, reported they already have a number of organisations using the facility.
A group spokesperson said: “We have plans – and money – to start refurbishment of the building soon.”
