The newly formed Kinnaird Village & The Inches Residents’ Association decided to raise a bit of festive cheer by having a community Christmas lights competition.
Residents of the two Larbert areas competed in four categories to find the boldest and brightest, most subtle and sophisticated, the best balcony and the most quirky and quaint.
The judges were some of the local children along with local councillors, Gary Bouse and Joan Coombes.
James Alexander, vice-chair of the association,t said: “It was great to see so many people take part and seeing families walking the streets to view them.
"Hopefully this has helped raise the spirits after what has been a difficult year for many."
