First Minister tweets praise and dons facemask designed by pupils at Falkirk school

Children in P6 at Langlees Primary designed reusable masks made from the school’s purple tartan and were thrilled to see Nichola Sturgeon wearing it on Twitter.
The First Minister tweeted “Thanks so much for sending me the brilliant face covering...and well done for promoting the Global Sustainability Goals."

Hide AdThe young activists costed materials and recruited a number of crafty volunteers to bring their designs to life.
They then created a hard hitting publicity video to share their message.
The children hope their drive will highlight the Global Goals for Sustainable Development - the solutions and action needed to tackle poverty, inequality, injustice and climate change - to their fellow pupils and local community.
