Assaults on man and teen in Falkirk being treated as 'hate crime'

Both incidents took place in Grahams Road on Saturday night and a man (21) and two teens, both aged 17, have been charged in connection with the attacks.
Initially, a 16-year-old boy was attacked at 7.15pm. A short time later, a man (51) was assaulted.

Hide AdChief Inspector Chris Stewart, Falkirk Area Commander, said: "I can confirm that the incident which occurred on Grahams Road, Falkirk on Saturday, June 20 is being investigated as a hate crime and three males have been arrested and held in police custody to appear at Falkirk Sheriff Court.
“Inquiries remain on-going in relation to this incident.
“We will not tolerate any kind of hate crime. My message to everyone, whether they’ve been a victim of hate crime, or witnessed it, is to please report this kind of behaviour to the police.
“Tackling hate crime is an absolute priority and my officers will thoroughly investigate all hate crime reported to us to ensure offenders are brought to justice.”
