Charity in full bloom
And members are asking Falkirk Herald readers to help.
During a series of special days over the next few weeks, volunteers will be sporting the charity’s iconic daffodil badge and selling them for £1 each.
Community fundraiser Jennifer Gale hopes Falkirk will beat its last-time figure of £4000 raised, and that scores of local people will rally to the cause.

“We’re fortunate here that we have our Falkirk group, because everything is organised and we know most local people, knowing what Marie Curie means, will want to do something to help.”
She says wearing the daffodil badge is also a great way of reminding people what the daffodil and charity stands for.
The Falkirk group is looking for volunteers for one of its collection days to encourage people to donate and wear a daffodil pin.

This is our biggest annual fundraising campaign, making it possible for Marie Curie Nurses to give care and support when people need it most.
