'Very busy' Forth Valley Royal Hospital's capacity stretched by COVID-19

However NHS Forth Valley did confirm the hospital was very busy at this time - but there was still extra capacity available if required.
A spokesperson said: “Forth Valley Royal Hospital continues to be very busy and we are seeing an increase in the number of people admitted with COVID-19 and other serious health conditions.

Hide Ad“Our Intensive Care Unit is also very busy but we do have the ability to further increase capacity, if required.
"Our staff are continuing to deliver care to local patients who require urgent care and treatment, and are also working very hard to ensure patients who are well enough to leave hospital are discharged or transferred as quickly as possible to help free up capacity for those who require to be admitted.”
