New plans to transform historic Falkirk church courtyard
Arka Architects said in its planning application to Falkirk Council that the modern, two-bedroom home would improve the look of the area outside the B-listed building, just off Cow Wynd.
"The Tattie Kirk has been renovated to accommodate a beauty salon, apartment and office space, but the surrounding courtyard does not have the same high standard," its application states.

The area is part of the Falkirk Town Centre Conservation Area and Antonine Wall World Heritage Site.
The plans show a modern two-bedroom apartment on the first floor with four parking spaces below.
Councillors will consider the application in due course.
